I've watched Doomsayers come and go here for years.

A philosophy that serves nicely is that old saw:
"Expect the worst and hope for the best"

That's exactly what has happened for decades...
AntiChrist never was elected to the presidency.
Nuclear armageddon didn't happen.
Lesbians haven't become omnipotent Amazons.
Debt ceiling/economy has been on the brink for my entire life.
**** still think pounding the same drumbeat relentlessly means something.
CP's dad still gets murdered every year.

Strother Martin said it best at the beginning of "Up in Smoke"

"WHEN BOY, WHEN?!"
The worst is yet to come... IT ALWAYS IS.
